Pole and Accessories

GENERAL INFORMATION

Acrylic Art has on numerous occassions been supplying vast quantities of poles to many municipalities since 1992. All poles are designed to SABS 0225 by a registered Professional Engineer.

Acrylic Art is also a very well established manufacturer of decorative type poles and has built up a reputation for designing and producing even the most demanding architectural pole designs. Acrylic Art has the benefit of an in-house tooling and die design and manufacturing facility in addition to an in-house aluminium casting foundry, which ensures quick turnaround times and quality products. All decorative poles are designed and manufactured to SABS 0225 and a design certificate is also issued for each.

MANUFACTURING DATA


•
All poles are designed and manufactured to exact Municipality requirements.
•
Poles are designed by a registered Professional Engineer to SABS 0225 specifications.
•
A design certificate is available for poles manufactured.
•
Cable entries and door openings are cut with a Plasma Arc machine to ensure optimum accuracy and neatness.
•
Holes are hot dip galvanised by an SABS approved galvaniser to SABS I.S.O 1461 standards.
•
Structatube Greyed 300WA material is used for poles manufactured.
The Pole Range includes:
•
Straight Parallel Tapered Poles up to 15 meters long.
•
Parallel tapered poles with the following type of outreaches:
■
Straight outreaches at any angle up to 4 meters outreach (spigot and angle details to customer specifications),
■
Curved outreaches with any curve radius up to 4 meters outreach (spigot and angle details to customer specifications),
■
Special decorative / architectural outreaches,
•
Special brackets / outreaches for wooden or concrete poles.
•
Power line Transmission poles.
