Acrylic Art Lighting and Pole Manufacturers, a leading manufacturer of lighting poles and light fittings for infrastructural and residential developments, was established in March 1991 and acquired in 2008 by the First Tech Group. The company’s mission is to design and manufacture a range of superior lighting products locally, for distribution on both a local, national and international scale.

Acrylic Art has effectively penetrated the decorative lighting market, based on price competitiveness and product quality within the market. Annual tenders for post tops, luminaires and light poles are awarded to Acrylic Art, for City Power, Tshwane and Ekurhuleni (which comprises of nine councils). Additional councils such as Bloemfontein, Hermanus, Durban and Polokwane also accept Acrylic Art’s Post Tops and Streetlight poles.

Acrylic Art is a multi-functional company, with the design, development, and various stages of the manufacturing process effectively carried out in-house. The Company prides themselves in offering a service that includes anything from design “specials” to products manufactured specifically to the Customers' specified requirements.

Key projects which Acrylic Art have been involved in include Casino's, Golf Estates and Shopping Centres where a unique design is required for each particular project.
